Konami Release PES 2013 Data Pack 5.00 + Patch 1.04

Konami released PES 2013 DLC (Data Pack) 5.00. You can download PES 2013 Data Pack 5.00 via the ‘Information > Data Pack Update’ submenu in PES 2013.

PES 2013 Data Pack 5.00′s biggest feature is the addition of all 40 participants of Copa Libertadores 2013 with up-to-date squads and kits. The UEFA Champions League 2013 Final Ball is also included.

PES 2013 game patch 1.04 fixes various game errors, mainly in Online. Download PES 2013 Patch 1.04 [Konami server].

If you are using PESEdit.com 2013 Patch we are recommending not to update to the new DLC just yet but to wait for our next update / full version to adjust to PES 2013 DLC 5.00 + PES 2013 Patch 1.04.

The Data Pack 5.0 will be released on the 25th of April, 2013, for PES 2013 on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. It will update the Copa Libertadores mode and will bring many new items for the teams and players.

To make the football experience even more realistic, the players of each team will be updated to recreate Libertadores 2013: new kits, emblems, player additions as well as a new player list will come together with DLC 5.0. Moreover, the referee uniform, ball and emblem of the 38 main teams will be updated to the cup.

If it wasn’t enough, the new DLC will also feature Libertadores 2013 season added into PES 2013 as a new mode.

Konami Announce AFC Champions League License For PES 2014

Konami today announced the addition of fully-licensed AFC Champions League to the PES games starting with PES 2014. PES 2014 will see Asia’s main club competition added as a seperate game mode similar to Copa Libertadores in PES 2013. 32 of the best teams from the Asian continent participate in AFC Champions League to determine the continent’s best club football team.

PES 2014 Fox Engine Unveiled

The Edge Magazine issue about the new PES 2014 engine is already available to subscribers, detailing the key features of PES 2014 Fox Engine.

While PES 2014′s engine is based on Fox Engine, but it’s simply being called ‘new engine’ by Konami. The new physics engine uses a system called ‘Barycentre physics’ to achieve realistic player collisions calculated in real time.

PES Productions is aiming for photo-realism graphics wise, there’s a close up of a player’s face in the article showing very detailed skin texture and 3d model (see teaser). Kits will be seperated from players’ models in PES 2014 which means they hang from the players and flow.

The ball control radius is 3 times bigger than in current gen to allow more dynamic off-ball tussles.

There’s a new formation feature were you can set player’s ‘zones’, defining instructions for players to follow in certain areas of the pitch.

PES 2014 Fox Engine Key Features: (thanks to HSH28 of grcade.co.uk)

1. Barycentre Physics and Ball controlThe new engine allows for a larger separation between player and ball – three time the radius of PES 2013, where tight ‘confrontation’ zones are used to make tackling easier. A striker will be able to throw his body weight in one direction and use his opposing foot to push the ball in the other way, leaving defenders off balance and buying space for a pass or shot.
   You’ll be able to control your player’s weight shifts at all times and use practice touches to push the ball away from your feet. We see a wireframe demo with more natural animations and fluid transitions than FIFA 13. You control the player and the physics drives the animation, not vice versa. It’s hard to tell how this will transform the ‘feel’ of play, rather than just being admirable behind the scenes calculations, but there appears to be scope for a radical new control scheme – think of how Skate’s right-stick motions mimicked real-life movements by exploiting dynamic physics, and how they compared to the digital button taps of Tony Hawks Pro Skater. This could be a revelation in football game control.
2. Contact and PhysicalityKonami has pinpointed this as a weakness in previous games, but now players can jostle for space – even without the ball present – for headers at corners, or to dominate a smaller opponent.
   You’ll be able to tug shirts (cloth is now separate from the player’s body and stretches) as well as elbow for room on the touchline. It works in tandem with the physics and precision control. Agile players can unbalance defenders with dropped shoulders or ball skills, and push the ball further ahead to exploit their acceleration. “Previously, body feints were more aesthetic,” admits Masuda. “Now they’re a key tactic.”
3. Squad EmulatorFormations remain essential for success, but now you can set ‘zones of play’ so your key players focus on certain tactics in mission-critical areas. For example, you can set your front line to focus on possession and probing for gaps in from of a deep-lying defence. In theory, you’ll be able to recognise your favourite teams pattern of play within a few minutes. The emphasis on defending and shape should allow weaker teams to create effective strategies, such as when Celtic beat Barcelona in the Champions League by defending deep, buoyed up by the home crowd.

PES 2013 DLC 4.00 Available for Download

Konami finally released DLC 4.00 for PES 2013 today. You can download it via the ‘Information’ menu in PES 2013.

It includes winter transfers as well as new boots. This means we will finally be able to play with all the new winter transfers in Online mode.

If you are using PESEdit.com 2013 Patch we are recommending not to update to the new DLC just yet but wait for the release of PESEdit.com 2013 Patch 3.2 which will include all the DLC content as well Turkish Süper Lig and will be released shortly.

PES 2014 Fox Engine Unveiled 14/03/13

Konami just announced that the new PES 2014 Graphics Engine, known as PES 2014 Fox Engine, will feature in next week’s Edge Magazine (released March 14th).

This means we will get first impressions on the new engine of Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 next week. It will reportedly use an adjusted version of Fox Engine, which is an engine developed by Kojima Productions for upcoming Metal Gear Solid games.

Last month we invited one of the most well known and well respected gaming magazines, Edge, to come to Tokyo and take a first look at the new engine that will be behind the future of the PES series.

Our aim in this first reveal is to give you all an insight into the technical aspects with the new engine. It’s the first step, which will lead to a full reveal at a later date.

The next Edge magazine will be released on March 14th, so make sure you check back throughout the week for more details and information, we’ll let you know how to get your hands on it!

PES 2014 Features Overview

PES 2014 Release Date

Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 is expected to be released in September / October of 2013. An official date should be announced around August.

PES 2014 Graphics new

PES 2014 will use a modified version of Fox Engine, developed by Kojima Productions. PES 2014 Fox Engine will be announced in early March 2013.

The new PES 2014 Fox Engine will ‘spring some surprises’ according to European PES Team Leader Jon Murphy.

Thanks to Pro Evolution Soccer’s new Fox Engine, snow will return to the weather selection.

PES 2014 Licenses new

Primera División, Ligue 1 and Eredisivie should remain fully licensed, while all Serie A teams should be individually licensed. While most English teams will remain with fake team names and shirts (as long as the league maintains an exclusive deal with EA Sports) another team might be added to join Manchester United as full licensed. This may not be one of the teams that have an individual partnership with EA (Arsenal, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Everton, Fulham, Newcastle, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur). German Bundesliga will remain absent apart up to two licensed teams. One of them should be Bayern while the other one is most likely the 2nd best team apart Dortmund who have exclusive EA deal, too.

Seeing Konami’s huge sales success in Latin America it is extremly likely there will be another full league of the region. First option, logically, is Argentinian Primera División. The league was actually rumored to be in PES 2013 with Konami reportedly failing to get all teams’ licenses in time.

Spanish Liga Adelante (2nd division) could well be added fully licensed, if rumors are to be believed.

There were also reports about a number of Brazilian stadiums to be in the game, including new Arena do Grêmio. Konami also declared its desire to add another league with fully licensed stadiums besides La Liga, with French Ligue 1 and Dutch Eredivisie the main options.

PES 2014 Modes

League & Offline Community modes are likely to return after all the negative responds Konami received after removing the two modes in PES 2013.

‘Boot boosting’ as seen in Pro Evolution Soccer 2013′s Football Life modes is set to be removed altogether.

PES 2014 Editing

Edit mode will receive an almost complete overhaul if rumors from last year are believed to be true. The updates include the option of unlimited slots for graphics such as emblems or kit logos as well as for Edit mode stadium slots. PES 2014 should also see the addition of Third kits for various teams.

Konami Officially Announce PES 2013 Winter Transfers DLC

Konami today officially announced the new Data Pack (4.00) for PES 2013. It will be released on Thursday March 7th and will include winter transfers as well as new boots. This means we will finally be able to play with all the new winter transfers in Online mode.

PESEDIT will release an update for PESEdit.com 2013 Patch to work with the new DLC shortly after its released.

Jon Murphy Speaks About PES 2014 Engine

Konami’s Jon Murphy, PES Team Leader Europe, has updated his twitter announcing he would travel to Japan and later teasing about the new engine for PES 2014. It is highly likely the game will use a modified version of Fox Engine, developed by Kojima Productions.

Although an official announcement for the game will probably not be due until April, there is hope Jon Murphy might reveal some nice stuff about the engine and the rest of the game during his stay in Japan. Stay tuned for more info about PES 2014!

KONAMI Announce PES 2013 Patch 1.02

The patch will be released in early December 2012 and include the following features:

1) Fixes to the below issues. We would like to apologise for all inconveniences caused.

Master League Online

• The transfer fee and contract fee shown when signing a player is different to the one shown in the breakdown of such costs.
• Changes to the squad and the team funds were not reflect immediately when signing/releasing players or receiving gate receipts from matches played.

Master League

• Sometimes the game would freeze when items obtained in Master League Online were used.

Performance Training

• It was impossible to complete the “Long-pass” training when Pass Assistance level was set to either [0] or [1].
• It was impossible to complete the “Manual-pass” training when the cursor was set to “fixed” when using Personal Data other than “no.1″.

Edit

• Sometimes the game would freeze when importing PES 2012 data. This applies to cases where implementing the data would result in players switching to wearing boots which were issued in PES 2012 Data Pack 3.

Information

• When a new Data Pack was implemented, users were forced to restart their hardware as a message informing them of non-matching Data Pack versions would be displayed rendering some game features such as Master League Online, Competition and the Widget inaccessible.

2) The below additions due to customer requests:

General

• Users can now choose to enable or disable the Auto Save feature in game modes including Master League and Become a Legend by selecting [System] then [Auto Save] in order.

Football Life

• Players will wear boots which are unique to them in both Master League and Become a Legend. Any editing done to player’s boot settings will also be reflected. However, please note that this only applies to save data created after the implementation of this patch file.
• Changes have been made to how teamwork levels between players increase.

3) General improvements to other modes to improve overall gaming experience.
